FEBRUARY 2011 NEWSLETTER

COLLIE LAKE KEPWARI 3 DAY RIDE 5TH – 7TH MARCH 2011

The AGM was held on the weekend and fees for 2011 were decided on.  Please find attached a new membership ride form.  Could you please save this on your computer for future use for rides this year and discard any previous forms you have.

Fees for 2011 have not changed all that much, except that due to the restructure of ATHRA there are some additional fee categories.  Fees are:

Adult member – $60.00

Junior member – $50.00

Social member – $40.00 (non-riding, no voting rights)

Please complete the attached form and send your fees in as indicated at the top of the form.  If you want to send your payment by EFT, please make sure you put your surname in the reference  and send Margaret Rose an email detailing your payment, that is the amount and date paid so she can properly process your payment.  You will still need to send in your form, unless you were at the AGM and filled  a form in then.

Our next ride for 2011 will be held at Collie-Burn again over the March Long Weekend – 5^th – 7^th May, so mark this in your diaries.  Full details will be distributed with our first newsletter for the year in the next couple of weeks.

MEMBERSHIP RIDE WAIVER FORM

We are planning to hold the Annual General Meeting for the Club on Saturday, 22nd January 2010 from about 1 pm onwards.  The meeting will conclude with a club BBQ.  For those who would like to you can bring your horse, camp overnight and we will have a Club Ride on the Sunday morning.

Hi all

Have a look at this link below.  We saw these guy’s at Equitana and they are just fantastic – they were so popular.  They’re coming to the State Equestrian Centre on 3rd – 5th Dec. Everyone should try to get to a night show and the clinic on the Sunday if possible. You would need to be quick to get tickets now – I’m sure they’ll put on a great show as they did in Melbourne.

*** Does anyone have anything they want included on the AGM Agenda. At this stage it is planned to hold it at Collieburn on Sat 22nd January & then for those that want to take their horses there will be a ride on the Sunday. A notice will come out soon.
